Scientific Associate - in vivo Pharmacology - Respiratory Diseases

We have an excellent opportunity for an in vivo scientist to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to undertaking research into Respiratory Diseases. The main purpose of the role is to provide in vivo pharmacological support for drug screening in animal models of respiratory disease. You will also present results internally and prepare reports for internal/external publications. 

To be considered for this position you will be a skilled in vivo pharmacologist, preferably with experience in rodent models of respiratory disease. You should have a current, valid Home Office animal licence (or equivalent) or will have previously held one. A strong background in performing a broad range of Cellular and or Molecular based experimental procedures, including ELISA, Real-time PCR is sought and experience with tissue culture and flow cytometric analysis is desirable. You will be expected to analyse data and present your results so strong communication skills are essential. We are looking for an individual that can operate as part of a team and autonomously so drive and good interpersonal skills are also a must.
